I grew up on a farm, where I learned my work ethic. I had a learning disability in high school, where I was four years behind my classmates in learning level. However, I overcame this disability, went to college, and received a business degree. The disability gave me the drive and the thirst to prove myself.

I knew I would not be the one running the family farm in sixth grade, and I always wanted to run my own business. Therefore, I knew I had to cut my new path in life. I worked in corporate America for over twenty years but always looked for a business with more flexible hours.

I got into real estate in 2000 to start building a passive income. I remodeled fifteen properties with my father, who was a Union carpenter. Remodeling houses helped me get to know my father better and build a better relationship with my father. I was lucky to have a great relationship with both of my parents. So when my parents got sick, I could leave my corporate job and take care of them in their later years.

The best part is that I started while still working my everyday job. Now, it still came with some long days and sleepless nights, but with the help of my amazing mentors, I’ve learned the right strategies and steps to fire my boss and start doing something amazing finally!
